Intelligent Process Weighing

Digital Vessel And Silo Weighing Systems Delivering Precision And Process Transparency

Digital vessel and silo weighing systems provide advanced, precise measurement and process insight for tanks, silos, hoppers, and process vessels. Using Minebea Intec’s Pendeo® Process digital load cells with Digital Assistance Technology (DAT), these systems reduce installation and calibration time while offering continuous performance monitoring and in-depth diagnostics. Digital load cells identify issues instantly and help maintain production even when a load cell fault occurs by simulating a replacement signal in non-legal-for-trade applications.

Designed for demanding industrial environments, Pendeo® Process load cells offer high overload capacity, corrosion-resistant construction, and excellent vibration tolerance. Hermetically sealed to IP68/IP69k, they withstand harsh conditions and support rapid commissioning. Digital solutions provide temperature compensation, load distribution analysis, and comprehensive data logs, enabling safer, more efficient batching, fill-level control, and process automation.

Key Benefits
Pendeo® Process Digital Compression Load Cells

The digital compression load cells of the Pendeo® Process series are specially designed for tank and process vessel weighing.

In combination with our DAT – Digital Assistance Technology” evaluation electronics, the digital load cell opens up new insights into the weighing process: from load distribution in the vessel to temperature measurement. Different functions are available depending on the evaluation electronics selected. One example is the automatic, digital recording of load cell parameters, which reduces the configuration effort and makes the scale ready for use in just a few minutes. If a load cell is defective, the system immediately issues a digital message. In non-legal-for-trade applications, production can be maintained by simulating the defective load cell until it is replaced. In addition, all parameters of the scale can be read out and saved as a text file.
